About Burgin Conservation of Paintings

Beverly Burgin is the owner of Burgin Conservation of Paintings.  All work is done exclusively by Burgin who has over 40 years experience in the field of art and framing.

In the 1970’s Burgin studied at the Ringling School of Art, while in the1980's and 1990's she owned art and framing galleries, judged and juried art shows, and successfully coordinated expansive art exhibits.  During this time Burgin also restored furniture and frames.

In 1989 Burgin redirected her focus to painting restoration and is continuously perfecting her skills in the art and science of restoration and conservation.  She is a member of leading art conservation organizations and attends yearly workshops with fellow conservators both in the United States and abroad in order to remain up-to-date with the unique expertise required for her profession.
In 2010 she was privileged to spend a month in Italy studying art and architecture.  One of the weeks was devoted entirely to the restoration of tears, distortions and paint loss with a one on one workshop conducted by one of Florence’s leading conservators, Lorenzo Conti.
Clients are pleased with the professionalism and affordability of working with Burgin Conservation and its commitment to excellence.
